On buying into the lottery

PrintIn my guest post on Pistons.com, I suggested that the Pistons would be essentially buying their way into the lottery by re-signing Amir Johnson. Today at the FanHouse, Bethlehem Shoals looks at a couple of other teams who think they're doing the same thing.

You have to wonder if this is an extension of the hype to draft high schoolers, now we have the re-signing of second round picks who still haven’t won starting jobs to contracts that teams normally award veterans in free agency.
