The NBA's new marketing slogan is apparently "Where Amazing Happens." Whatever. Couldn't we have just stuck with "I Love this Game!"

Why do companies (like the NBA, Nike, Coke, etc) insist on changing their company slogan every couple years? Do they really think some one that doesn’t watch the NBA now is going to see a commercial that says “Where Amazing Happens” and suddenly change their mind and start watching the NBA? So now the NBA will spend millions rebranding themselves, instead of, I don’t know, making sure the officiating is reliable and I’m not even talking about the ‘bad’ ref…

This is complete bullsh*t. I had it on good authority that the NBA was going with not one but TWO new slogans this year. “N.B.A…. I took the over” and “Most of our games are legit, we swear”. This is obviously some kinda of coverup until the REAL slogans come out. Nice try Stern.

I love this game, is all they ever need. Wearing that t-shirt, there’s no question what it means. Where amazing happens, sounds like a TV slogan.
