Joe Dumars, playmaker
I'm not usually one for random YouTube mixtapes, but there's some nice vintage footage in there. In fact, watching this now is a bit of a revelation. I'm not sure I ever fully appreciated Dumars' deft touch as a passer -- some of those behind-the-back moves were as flashy as anything Isiah, Magic or Stockton ever did.
In hindsight, Dumars did post some pretty impressive assist totals for a shooting guard, topping out with 5.7 dimes a game during Detroit's first title run in 1989. Who knows, had he not been paired with a future Hall of Famer from Day 1, perhaps he would have spent the bulk of his career making plays for his teammates instead of himself.

Love to reminisce with Joe D. Wanted to gouge my eyes out from the music.

He used to throw awesome lobs to Grant Hill. And that behind-the-back pass with spin so it bounced to Rodman streaking across half-court was slick. Good on David Wood for finishing that lay-up with authority!

Curry, 40, ended the practice with a one-handed slam. Rookie “Will Bynum challenged me,” Curry said. “I told him I could still dunk, so I had to dunk for Will Bynum.”
