Bulls sign Lindsey Hunter
From ESPN's Chris Sheridan:
Contract terms were not disclosed by the team, but a source told ESPN.com that Hunter agreed to a one-year, non-guaranteed contract. His salary will be a pro-rated share of the veteran's minimum of about $1.3 million for players with at least 10 years' experience.
Hunter is expected to be in uniform Thursday night when the Bulls play host to the Dallas Mavericks.
He will add a veteran presence to a roster already jam-packed with guards, although the backcourt has been depleted by injuries to Larry Hughes (dislocated shoulder) and Kirk Hinrich (thumb surgery).
Can't say I'm surprised, not after the news that he worked out for the Clippers last month. At the very least he can give Derrick Rose a few tips about playing terrific on-the-ball defense. So long as keeps his real estate and conditioning tips to himself, there's no downside.

That’s bullshit. I thought he was still with he Pistons? We need him in the postseason, his D is crazy. And I thought he was gonna be in the front office with Joe D? Are all bets off on that too?

I’m surprised the Spurs didn’t pick him up, they could SEVERELY use help at the point right now.

I hope he still ends up working with Joe D here whenever he decides his career is over. I would have loved to have him, but the way Bynum has been performing, I think we’ll be fine without him. Between him and Afflalo, I think we have enough defensive energy to make up for Lindsay, but with more offensive production.

Anothr great move by the chicago front office. 8 guards on a 15 man roster. Are they signing folks for the 6’5" and under league? I guess someone is getting traded or waived.

@Mr. 5 Star:
We don’t need Hunter, we have Bynum. What’s more, with Bynum, I won’t be white-knuckling my arm-rests when he runs the offense…

Or have to worry about fraudulent business tactics on the most financially well-run team in the league…

Curry on DFN:
Kwame starts, Rasheed at the four. That’s what it SOUNDED like. He was kind of dancing around the subject. He feels that Kwame and Max play the same role out there, and…hell, I don’t know. It was a really convoluted way of saying that Kwame starts.

@Keegan – Your post gave me a strangely familiar queasy feeling…kind of like the feeling I used to get when Lindsey Hunter would shoot a 3 pointer…

Well, Lindsey should be in good shape to play should we need him come playoff time ROFLMAO. Do they allow player loans in the NBA like they do in Euro soccer? :)
