Did De La Hoya/Pacquiao do in the Pistons?
ESPN's Chris Sheridan suggests the Pistons might have looked a step slow against the Knicks because "many of Curry's players were out late Saturday night in Manhattan watching Oscar De la Hoya get beat up by Manny Pacquiao." Awesome.

Only 11 more Sunday games to go, so I think we’re looking at a 63 and 19 final record, which should be good enough for the number 3 seed in the East…

In the Pistons’ defense, there is no way we lost to the Knicks no matter how tired our guys are, so why not take in the bout?
Even down 29, there is no way we lose that game.
Even now, I don’t quite believe we lost that game.

yeah, i paid 80 dollars to watch that game by myself because i couldn’t find anyone to take the second ticket. i love this team, but unless there is some sort of special occasion where i’m given a ticket, i’ll never be watching them in person again. i’d like to thank them for the joy and distraction they’ve given me over the years and tell them that they can suck it, long and hard. thanks for half-assing yet another game.
btw duhon made ai his bitch. sack up and earn that 20 mil ya little jackass.

In the Pistons defense, the PTI guys were saying on the show today that Pacquiao is the best boxer in the world pound-for-pound (take that, Larry Brown!) and that he put on a performance for the ages Saturday night. I’m not much of a boxing aficionado, but those guys made me wish I had seen this fight.

It’s nice to see that the Pistons are taking their season seriously.
Would Chauncey have let this happen?
