Kwame is funny
Kwame Brown missed the final two preseason games with a nagging hand injury, but he received good news over the weekend when tests revealed it wasn't fractured. He'll play through the injury, finally providing an excuse for his notoriously poor handle. From Ted Kulfan:
"Maybe I'll fumble a few passes here and there, but I do that anyway," he said with a smile. "I'll tape it and protect it as much as I can, and hopefully it'll get stronger."

"Maybe I’ll fumble a few passes here and there, but I do that anyway,"
So would you say that he could… have his cake and eat it too?

I still say Kwame and MFWB need their own show. Or at least segment on Pistons Weekly.

i heard that they are remaking the classic arnold movie “twins” starring kwame and will bynum.

will this affect his new jump shot?

afb, I think Arnie Kander said the injury is actually might help him. It makes it so that he can’t grip the ball as hard which was why he fumbles so many passes.

Garret, it’s funny you should say that. On “Pistons Weekly” last night there was a segment hosted by Kwame about his charity event (giving shoes to needy children).
There’s a moment where Will Bynum is given the job of washing all the kids’ feet and he starts complaining to Kwame that he’s doing all the tough work.

I love wolf blitzer’s random anti-Payne comments. He’s becoming my second favorite commenter, after (of course) coachDP. just epinion.

I am enjoying wolf blitzer’s random comments as well. I wonder when he’ll interview Mike Payne for his upcoming expose “Trolls on the ethernets”.
No?
I’ll show myself out

They don’t bother me, I’m just curious why all the attention? I’m a bit scared I might end up being a lampshade or a man suit in wolf blitzer’s underground mike payne shrine.

Mike Payne has a poster of me hanging in his room that has a word-bubble saying, “Payne-Train, U R My Beeyotch, son.” Of course, he will deny this.
Easy does it, Same team, Go Pistons, Curry sucks, iverson is a pussy cat doll for not playing the opener, and Mike “At Any Hour” Abdenour would break Iverson’s ankles, Mike Payne’s labias, then tape ‘em back up, because that’s just how he rolls.

Troll?…Boney…I’ve been here just as long as you my friend—- just have had no reason to come back since this site and team spent last season in the doldrums.

I always thought you guys were buddies or something. Since you’re not, that’s kind of creepy. Now I picture wolf blitzer kind of like this:

@Garrett— Mike Payne burnt those bridges long ago. I don’t care how much he kisses my ass and pampers me, I don’t see Friend Requests ever happening. Maybe, using string theory, Mike Payne and I are friends in another dimension.

@Garrett:
No, I have no idea who dude is. Last season, Petey was talking shit about Matt so I defended him (which wasn’t necessary, obviously), and blitzer replied, “are you robin?”. I said something like, “only your wife calls me that” and he’s been on my nuts since. It’s creepy, but like I said above it doesn’t bother me.
He is a lot creepier looking than dude in Silence of the Lambs though. And he’s a lawyer, so there’s that.

I kind of picture blitzer as this lil’angry fella.

We are the Knights of Kwame Brown. His exhibition of levity pleases us.

I kind of picture Sean W as this Knowledgeable person:

Whoops.. shouldn’t have made the little fella mad. He’s an angry elf isn’t he?
by Sean W. on Oct 27, 2009 2:35 PM CDT reply actions 0 recs
@Sean W. yes, elf is a rather comical movie. Zooey Deschanel is hot. Will Ferrell is funny. I haven’t stopped laughing since I watched it about 5, 6 years ago. Mike Payne may be the wind beneath my wings, but you have solidified and secured your spot as the toilet paper crumbles that get lodged between my ass cheeks.

Let’s not forget the subject of the initial post: Kwame Brown is funny, like the hysterical comedy, “Elf.” Yet when he’s not making toys near the arctic circle, he can big body-up the Celts, cavs, and magic. And when Kwame picks up some cheap fouls, we can bring in this:

ha @ toilet paper crumbles
That’s why I use those “Wet Ones”, so I can make sure it’s spic and span down there

What would the Pistons want from the Mavs for Kwame? That’d be ace!
by Carl on Oct 27, 2009 3:55 PM CDT reply actions 0 recs
I would take Wilcox at PF and Kwame at center…
The former, A Bruiser, the latter, A Brick Layer. For Kwame, I still need him to lay more lumber, less bricks. For Villaneutrogena to ever start, I need him to exemplify just a weee bit of tough juice, before Coach Q decides to start him. ET and Wallace off the bench, along with MFWB and/or Gordon isn’t that bad of a second unit. Unrelated, but mike payne, I’m a bit iffy on, growing luke warm to his shenanigans…sean w though, clearly sucks. Make like a tree, and get outta here Sean W Bush

Since everyone else is posting youtube videos that seem to be unrelated to anything of any importance, I’d like to share this little gem: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YwNi8dzj0S8.
He’s fat like Shaq- there, now it’s related to basketball.

Speaking of big men with jacked up hands, it seems Davis will be out for an extended amount of time due to injury AND suspension now.

Hopefully that’ll work, because it really is a must see.

He threw a punch at his friend while driving and broke his hand… Although Dumars jettisoned both Afflalo and Dunkon Washington, he didn’t sign Glen Davis, so at least there’s that.
Say what you will about my King Lord Liege Cakehanded, but if he throws a punch, he does it out of the car… and he destroys all cake.
Fuck the Celtics.

Actually when he was with the Wizards, Kwame punched through a car window out of frustration, cutting up his arm in the process. The difference between him and Davis? Kwame just wore a sleeve the rest of the season.

@Mike, yes but does he paint his nails the color black and have beyonce’s diva on his i-pod? (note I may be guilty of one of these things.)

now that blake griffin broke his kneecap (!) and will be out for 6 weeks or so, my best prediction is tyreke evans to win ROY.

So Ron Artest just said on E:60 that Detroit was his 1st choice this offseason, but our management said it wouldn’t be a good fit. Interesting.

This is champagne commentary! The epic to and fro between wolf blitzer and the rest of the community and I have no idea what the hell it’s all about.
Back on topic, I love Kwame. There is something about the dude that just makes me like him.
