Is Stucky a joke
correct me if im wrong but stucky does not look like a point guard or a floor general. in the two games they played he has less assist then half the team. If you have a floor genreal that isnt a floor general you wont go far. Maybe i am not seeing what joe D see's but as of now since he was drafted he has not been that impressive. kinda like a mateen cleaves. chucky atkins should move up on the depth chart

I agree
He is a shooting guard playing point guard. I wouldn’t give up on him yet though.

well well
if he is a shooting guard playing the point at what point do the coaches and gm realize it. thats like putting peyton manning at running back.

is it Stuckey not getting the ball to the open man...
or does the team as a whole do a good job at making sure the guy with the best shot gets the ball? Stuckey makes the first pass. It doesn’t mean the guy he gives it to has to take the shot.
Wouldn’t the poor team shooting percentage from last night offer a better explanation as to why Stuck didn’t get any assists? Basketball is a team sport afterall.

Stuckey is doing fine.....
…..He could have had about 8 assists yesterday if guys made open shots……Yesterday he was lookign for his shot…….Also his defense was awesome on Westbrook……His shot was off but other then that he was fine.

Stuckey Will Be Fine
hes just needs time……hes never played with Big Ben or Gordon Or Charlie……It will take some time to get used to those guys…….Did you see Billups his first 5 years in Boston and Denver….Was definetly a shot first point guard…..Heck even in his 7th year in the league or 1st with Detroit……he needs time……Im predicting at least 8 assists tonight…….Go Pistons!!!

good answer.
but thats the difference between a floor general and a point guard anybody can pass the ball to people but to guide guys and give to guys that help them get the best look possible is totally different. from what i seen stuckey didnt do that. ya billups did take time. so when does someone say hey we dont want you to be like the old billups but the new billups. Im a die hard piston, and wanna see see them do good.

Good and Valid Points.....
…..I just think he has it in him and I hope we dont give up on him like Boston and Denver did with Billups……He hit guys in stride last night when they were wide open and they missed shots……He has all the tools…..I think that he has the potential to be the best Dumars draft pick and we cant give up on him yet……Im more concerned right now with the money we gave Villenueva given his defensive and offensive play for that matter.

villenueva
i think at the time and with the options on the table charlie was the best pick true he is over paid but would we have done better with glenn davis or milsap.? nobody in the nba liked rasheed 4 years ago now he is a king in motown and still dont play much defense. overpaid yes. but lets not give up on him either.

Oh Im Not Giving Up.....
…..on CV just saying im more concerned about him then Stuckey.

i see
I feel the same way about CV but we already dont expect so much out of him because when know we wasnt getting a gold star player he is suppose to be a diamond in the rough, but stuckey on the other hand Joe D made a bold statement and said everybody is tradeable but him a few years ago. As if he was the next isiah thomas, he traded Billiups for this guy to step up and take over the team. and that didnt happen. Two years later its still not looking like he is the point guard of the future. But its only game two so……

I'm pretty sure the person wrote this is not a Piston fan...........
You did not watched a Pistons at all this season. All you talked about was STATS. Ben Wallace, stat wise, wasn’t all that flashy through the first two games, but he was certainly a defensive presence on the court.
Have you watch Stuckey kick the ball out to this Charlie dude who missed a bunch of shots?
