The Pistons need a win to salvage a game on their west coast swing, and hopefully pull themselves out of their 0-4 rut in the second game of back-to-back's. They are also currently on a four game losing streak.
As it was for many years when he was a Pistons player, it's going to be fun watching Grant Hill again. He's finally been healthy with the Suns and is averaging nearly 15 ppg and 10 rebounds per 36 minutes. Steve Nash, who signed what seemed to be a ridiculous extension during the off-season, is earning every penny of it by playing like the MVP that he was. He's averaging 18 ppg and nearly 13 assists per 36 minutes of action.
As you could probably guess, Detroit is going to have a difficult time trying to contain Phoenix's explosive offense. They are first in the NBA in points per game and are third in the pace factor. Detroit is 29th in the league in pace and near the bottom of the totem pole in points per game. Luckily, their defense has been surprisingly great, allowing an NBA fourth best, 93 points per game. It's going to be interesting to see how it plays out.
The Suns are coached by former Pistons' coach, Alvin Gentry. It will be the fourth game of this very young season the Pistons have already played a former coach (Saunders, Brown, Carlisle)
If you're looking for the opposing view of things, head over to Bright Side of the Sun. Hint: They think it will be a blowout.

So far the only silver lining in this game is Jerebko's play
Stuckey continues to struggle shooting… which doesn’t have to be an issue for a point guard, who could focus on passing and running the offense instead of shooting; but not stuckey…
