DO We Just have Their Number
Do we just have orlando's number or did everyone step up.? I personally think its a little of both, everyone played a game that they should play every night. And with veteran help from Ben, Rip and Tay. i think it will help the rest mesh like 2004. But thats wishfull thinking. Big question whats is up with our first round pick. Jonas Jeberko starting? Is Austin that soft or is Jonas that good.

Don’t mean to rain on our parade (we did play fairly well last night, especially the three guards who were excellent), but I don’t think that game counts for much. It’s a win, yes. A win is a win. But we got that win with Orlando not having Rashard Lewis. Gortat and Howard played less than 40 minutes combined due to foul troubles. Vince Carter was playing on a sprained ankle.
Of course, we were without Tayshaun and Rip, but I don’t think we can say we have their number until we have a game where both teams are at full strength.

22-4 in the last 26 meetings
I think it’s safe to say we have Orlando’s number. Of course, as you said a lot of variables played in our favor for this year, so maybe we don’t have their number anymore. We’ll see Friday I guess.

True
But are we or are we not the team that always seems to beat orlando we did sweep them all games last year. i really expected us to loose last night. that what made me wonder.

We are. We really have conquered them since Carlisle came to town. But, you have to remember: This is not the same team that took the court two years ago, or even one year ago. I don’t really think we can use our past successes in discussions anymore simply because of how much different this team is now.

Good Point
It just seems like when they play Orlando they walk with a different swagger, then when they play other rivals like chicago.. kinda like When New York Giants play Philly. or when Green Bay Plays Minesota
