WOW some ankle sprain
Joe Dumars is a very smart GM but what do you guys think he is doing with having Richard Hamilton and Tayshaun Prince? The New Look pistons are learning to work together, Rodney Stuckey has stepped up big time at the 2 gurad position should the piston leave him where he is and find a real point guard. What can a Gm get out of two players that havent played since the first week of the season as far as trade value

I really don't know who we can get...
but it’s possible that Chris Wilcox could be a nice piece to package with either one of those guys.
Of the 2 mentioned above, I’m not so sure who should be traded. My thoughts still say Rip but I can see the argument for Tay to be the more likely trade piece.

true
but as a gm why do you allow two of your key trade pieces to sit that doesnt look good as far as trade value. i mean would you buy a car that is in the back of the lot broken or one in the front looking pretty.? why sit these guys you cant make me or anyone else believe that Rip is still out with a ankle sprain. none of the media guys have questioned it and Rip or Tay hasnt spoke up

it can take up to 6 weeks to recover
from a major ankle sprain, and with the danger of doing permanent damage if you re injure it before recovery, you’d want to make sure it was fully healed. With the amount of movement that Rip does on the court, you’d hate to see him go down with a possible year ending injury.
There was no reason to rush him back, as the team was playing decently in his absence, and since he returned last night it’s all useless speculation at this point.

6 weeks
ya with a major ankle sprain that usually requires sugery or 6 weeks for a regular person, not a professional athlete with a pro trainer that makes 70k to help these guys heal faster is what my point was in a previous blog. but rip is back for the time being I and now really thinking that he a prince will be traded. i hope not because if all these guys can score and play defense the pistons will finally have the bench that they need. Its nice to have your starters sit the bench and know that your bench wont miss a beat

Undervalued
I don’t believe they will be traded, even if they did they are so undervalued around the league that it wouldn’t be worth it. Prince is an excellent defender and a matchup nightmare for any team in the NBA. Rip is one of the best jump shooters inside the NBA from inside the 3 point arc.
