Possible trade partner.....

How about this trade:

Detroit gets:

T-Mac

Shane Battier

Houston gets:

Rip

Tay

Maxiell

What it does is:

A) Rockets get rid of T-Mac

B) Pistons get a high paid expiring contract.

C)Give the Pistons a very good scorer(for now)

Check it out:

Another possibility would be as follows:

Detroit gets:

Carlos Boozer

Some sort of Draft PIck

Utah gets:

Rip

Utah gets a great shooting guard and gets rid of Boozer.

I like scenario one

we dump tay, rip, and maxiell (whose overpaid for poor production) and get an expiring contract and battier whose a solid defender. I like it cause then we can use all that money to sign a good center in the off season

I like the second one

Also ones like:
Wilcox and Maxiell for Okafor

Or:

Rip for Chris Kaman

i like the way you think

Either way the Pistons lack a dominant low post presence. In every championship team that has ever won or come close to a championship they have had a dominant big man down low. The Pistons lack that severely right now. Right now I am liking the Okafor trade more right now. But the Boozer trade is also a very plausible one and a great one for both parties.

I made a fan post regarding the Boozer trade, didn’t realize this discussion was up.

Exceptfor the Bulls....

….And Jordan…they never had a dominant big man.
