Rick Carlisle remembers Mr. D
Rick Carlisle on Bill Davidson: "The world mourns," he said. "He was one of the really unique people in the history of American culture. I know that sounds like a wild statement but it's the truth. I was fortunate to spend two years with Mr. D. He was a man of great wisdom. Not only was he a great businessman and a great philanthropist, but he will go down as a 20 Century icon. The impact he's had on so many people and different cultures is that important."

Wasn’t Mr. D the one that wanted Carlisle fired because he was rude to his staff?
