Did Rasheed Wallace ask for a buyout to join the Cleveland Cavs?
This could help explain his disinterested attitude the entire series. I wouldn't be surprised, actually. Thanks to M-Live's Dave Dial for putting the rumors together and making a very solid piece out of this. Read it and let me know what your opinion is.

I don't know about that
Definitely don’t think the Cavs want him…they have great team chemistry and ‘sheed could really screw that up potentially. Plus, if you want a team to be interested in you, should you play like uninspired crap (which he did), or show them how valuable you are? (which he certainly didn’t).

Right
As the story says, ‘Sheed may have asked for a buy-out back in late February when Cleveland would most likely have been interested in having ’Sheed. But you’re right, the way he played down the stretch was less than desirable.

I don’t buy it. I don’t think there is any truth to the rumour.
