Michael Rosenberg of the Free Press alternated between fluff and poison this week, penning a tribute to Joe Dumars and a hit piece on Bill Laimbeer. They're both interesting, even if they each read like rough drafts as opposed to fully fleshed-out profiles. With all the access he apparently has, getting an actual quote or two from Dumars (or anyone, really) about Laimbeer's NBA coaching prospects wouldn't have hurt, no? But, if lazy pundits are your thing, check it out.
