Why B.J. Mullens Would Be a Bad Decision at No. 15 for the Pistons

bj mullens

The NBA Draft is just around the corner of "get a map" and "eff off." With it approaching so rapidly, it's time to start speculating who the Detroit Pistons could possibly snag with their No. 15 overall pick. For your information, the last time Detroit had a No. 15 pick it was 2007 and they chose a guy named Rodney Stuckey.

This year, the draft is not particularly loaded, but there is a long list of guys that should be available come Detroit's turn; almost all of whom I'd be totally cool with the Pistons drafting.

Except for one.

To read who (well you know who), but why head over to Detroit4lyfe

At 15 Mullens.....

…..isnt that bad of a pick……at 10 yes….at 5 yes….at 15 not really…..Perdonally id like to get Hansbough…..Hes a perfect team player…..hes not going to be a star but he will work hard and be a solid NBA player…..According to everyones views on Mullens being a lazy type playeer….At least with Hansbourgh you know your going to get a guy that will hustle and only get better

It would be a wasted pick

All the kid has is potential, which will never turn into anything

I think he got the tattoos because he has trouble remembering his name.

I dont want him that bad.....

…..but if we end up with him at 15 im not going to complain…..he could one day average 10 and 10…..Thats not bad for the 15th pick….Considering in the NBA the majority of the players that are stars are taken in the top 10 you have to take chances outside the top 10…..Thats what this would be….Personally id rather see Hansbough or Clark though.

If we wind up picking Mullens

I’m not a huge fan of Mullens. With that being said, I think it’s best that we or whoever drafts him sends him to Europe or the D-League for at least a year and get max playing time for him. He is very tall and athletic, I bet he wil not be any worse than Amir. I am with a lot of other people on wanting Psycho T, or Ealr Clark. I am not sold on Daye, unless he starts tripling up on his bowls of wheaties and maybe even if he can do an A-rod or Barry and get some bulk on him!!!
