Welcome to Detroit: Pistons Select DeJuan Summers With No. 35 Pick of NBA Draft

Welcome to the Detroit Pistons, DaJuan Summers.  DaJuan is a 6'8" 236 lb. Junior forward from Georgetown University who averaged 13.6 ppg and 4.1 rpg in roughly 25 minutes this past season

Here are the strengths listed for him taken from NBA.com:

Prototypical size and strength for an NBA small forward. Shoots with range, and will rebound and bang from the wing. Has improved as a ball-handler.

Again, there were players left on the board (whom I didn't think would slip to the 2nd round, let alone to No. 35) that the Pistons decided to pass on.  What does everyone think about this pick?  Dumars seems to be addressing the concerns of the frontcourt first and foremost with these first two draft picks.

After the jump are a couple of videos of Summers.  After you've watched them, feel free to leave your thoughts on the pick in the comments section.
