Pistons Announce Preseason Schedule
Pistons announced their preseason schedule today. They will kick it off October 5 vs. Miami in their first of three games at the Palace before they travel to Grand Rapids, Michigan to play Washington.
What I've never understood is why anyone would want to schedule the same team more than once, but that's the case this year again as Detroit will play Milwaukee on October 7th and again on October 23rd before the regular season begins. The preseason is eight games long.
Via their website (via PistonsNation):
Here’s the complete preseason schedule:
Monday, Oct. 5 – Miami (Palace), 7:30 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 7 – Milwaukee (Palace), 7:30 p.m.
Sunday, Oct. 11 – Atlanta (Palace), 6 p.m.
Tuesday, Oct. 13 – Washington (Grand Rapids), 7 p.m.
Thursday, Oct. 15 – at Dallas, 8:30 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 17 – at Memphis, 8 p.m.
Thursday, Oct. 22 – Minnesota (Palace), 7:30 p.m.
Friday, Oct. 23 – at Milwaukee, 8:30 p.m.
UPDATE: Originally, I posted a preseason schedule that said October 13th's game was in Chicago, but Pistons.com had committed a typo. Also, October 22nd's game is not in California, but at the Palace. Both, now, are corrected and make much more sense.

Error?
I think that game against the Wizards on Oct 13th might be a typo. I believe it’s being played at Van Andel in Grand Rapids
Got it corrected now
I thought it was rather odd
