Pistons Sign Austin Daye
Like all first-round picks, the first two years of the deal are guaranteed. Austin's contract will be worth between $2.9-$3.5 million, depending on whether Detroit gives him the maximum allowable under the collective bargaining agreement.

I think Summers might be the better player
So it will be weird watching Daye getting more money while Summers becomes the better player.
I root for the Tigers, Pistons, Red Wings and yes, the Lions.

Daye has a lot of upside, but I also think Summers is most game ready right now.
