Jeeze. I'm starting to look like the D-League poster boy...
We get a chance to see the Mad Ants without driving down to fort wayne since VERSUS has picked up two games on the upcoming saturdays. If you have versus, that is.
Jared Reiner plays in our own back yard. He's leading the D league centers in efficiency, 2nd in points and rebounds. The drawbacks are that he is a bit turnover prone. It's a small sample size though. It can't hurt, especially with the way Wilcox and Brown have underwhelmed. A 10-day contract. That's all I ask Dumars.

It's a great idea.
He gave away Aaron Afflalo and kicked out Deron Washington for that roster space, I say USE IT.

Another Mad Ant option
Rob Kurz, also on Ft. Wayne, got mentioned by TrueHoop (at the bottom of the article)
“Speaking of the D-League, there’s a D-League big man with NBA experience who currently boasts the following stat line: 17.9 points per game, 10.3 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 58.4% 2-point field goal percentage. Here’s the best part: He’s also making 45.5% of his 3-pointers, while making 83.8% of his free throws. Some NBA team, I’d wager, could use this guy. Can you name him? ANSWER: Step right this way, Rob Kurz, of the Fort Wayne Mad Antz.”

o0ooooohhh
Very intriguing numbers, indeed, and they both appear to be big parts of the team.
Here’s the funny part: I just read the NBADL power rankings, both Reiner and Kurz are out with injuries. So I guess my point is officially moot
I want more wins
and I don’t care where they come from. Even Ohio.
