Joe Dumars being weighed as democratic candidate for Governor of the State of Michigan.
It should be said that he's never indicated once that he's interested in anything outside running the Pistons. I first heard this idea months ago on Jack Lessenberry's daily Political Commentary on Michigan Radio/NPR. I didn't think it would get much farther than that.
