Iverson to Turkey.
"Allen Iverson has agreed in principle to sign an incentive-laden, two-year, $4 million contract with Besiktas of the Turkish professional league, sources told Yahoo! Sports on Sunday night.
Iverson plans to sign the contract this week, the sources said, and is expected to report to Besiktas the week of Oct. 31."

Not that surprising, really.
I’m firmly convinced that Iverson remains talented enough to actually be a valuable bench piece for a contending team, but he just can’t get out of his own way. The only thing preventing Iverson from remaining in the NBA is Iverson’s own distorted, unrealistic opinion of himself. He isn’t going to help anybody trying to be the same kind of gunner that he was in his halcyon Philadelphia days, but in his mind, that’s the kind of player he still is.
Appropriate, because he is a Turkey
gobble gobble, motherfucker.

Did you guys see the story about Lionel Hollins?
He laid the smack down on Iverson in front of the team in Memphis last year, apparently. I wish Curry would have done the same.
