Ice for Dyess
It's been quite a while since i've seen a comment on Antonio McDyess here. I know you all haven't forgotten about him in the least, but here's to hoping for Antonio to finally win. The Spurs look great this year, and perhaps have the big men to compete with the Lakers. Tim Duncan looks like he'll be more rested come playoff time, the right DeJuan is killing on the boards, Bonner is a deep threat, Splitter will have some experience, and not to mention Dice. As much as I rooted against the Spurs when Detroit faced them in the finals, I feel like they are (were?) the Western Conference version of the Stones. So, here's to you, Antonio McDyess. Good luck this year. This will in all likelyhood be your last year shot.

I would LOVE for Dyess and the Spurs to win it all this year, but I just can’t see it happening. LA, Boston, Miami, and Orlando all have to be considered more likely that San Antonio. That’s a bummer because Dyess is probably my second favorite player in the NBA right now behind Big Ben and no one deserves a ring more than him.
There's no justice like angry mob justice!
Agreed
Much love for McDyess here — and the fact that this sentiment seems pretty much universal among Pistons fans says a lot about how obviously impressive the man is. But I wouldn’t put the Spurs as anything like favorites this year.
On the other hand, they are off to a great start and they have an excellent coach. So, at least on Dyess’s behalf, I wish them luck.
