glad they didn't put t-mac on the all-star ballot
surprised rip made it…
If Ben Wallace played more minutes, I think you could make a pretty strong argument for him. Perhaps TMac as well.
I'm voting for Will Bynum...
While he hasn’t shown much this season, the interviews he gave were on par with the greatest of all-stars this off-season. His commitment to saying the right things to ensure he gets that contract he’s always wanted is impeccable and I for one feel he should be rewarded justly. What better way than to send him to an all-star game that is quickly losing meaning with players like Yao, T-Mac, and AI likely being voted in?
Jonas Jerebko once killed a charging female rhinoceros in heat protecting its young with nothing more than a hook shot.
Can I vote for Darko?
He just had his first good game and probably the best game of his career last night against the Lakers. This deserves an all-star vote right? This may never happen again. Gotta vote now or never.
To experience the consequences of my own choices. This is why I live
Paul Millsap isn't on the all-star ballot
Think about that for a second.

OT: Wow, Rudy Gay just earned his contract with the tough, tough game-winner against Miami.

Watched about the last quarter and a half
Awesome game. Z-Bo had them closed out (putback, then blocked a LeBron drive), but Bosh banked in a 3, and Gay had an awful turnover that turned into a dunk for LeBron. That Gay shot was fucking awesome, though. He released it with .1 seconds left and James in his face. Shots don’t get much bigger than that.

Heat players must hate how the other teams celebrate like they won the championship.

The Heat don’t have a right to hate anyone, after the summer they inflicted on everyone.

You have a very complex relationship with the Heat. Just get over it and become a Heat fan already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nah, I’m kidding and I agree. In a moment of hysteria, everybody thought they were going to be a league annihilating monster, but there has to be cohesion, and they haven’t really showed that yet. The Celtics have better chemistry, as do the Lakers. I’d even venture to guess that Udonis Haslem has had as much to do with their wins as anybody.
Quick question: if the Grant Hill/T-Mac/Tim Duncan coalition would have happened, would the reaction have been the same? For the most part, everybody likes those 3 guys, so I’m curious. And, if this whole Heat triumvirate doesn’t result in, say, 2 or more rings, what does this do for Pat Riley’s legacy as a GM? I’m really spitballing here.

Hey now, all I’ve tried to say is that I don’t hate their respective decisions and that I enjoy watching really good teams play the game. I think the way they went about it — to a man, really — was juvenile and disrespectful. But, they are the most interesting storyline in the NBA.
Regarding legacy, I think they’ll win two. I think LA is the team to beat early, but age will catch up to them. They’ve got this year and maybe one more. Miami is two good MLE signings away from being unstoppable.
I’d say this year will be really competitive, and probably next year two. But barring major overhauls elsewhere (and again, this is way premature), I think Miami is two years away from 2-3 rings. Just epinion.
I know, I was just messing with you.
Absolutely. Any team that does anything well is worth watching. For example, I don’t like the Celtics at all. Paul Pierce is a bitch, etc. That’s why bitching about the Pistons defense and the Spurs and the nineties Knicks (OH DEAR JESUS BASKETBALL IS RUINED) is meaningless. Doing anything well is worth appreciating. Right now, though, the Heat don’t seem to be doing anything well other than beating some mediocre teams. I know, I own Dwyane Wade in the DBB fantasy league.
I’m saying one ring, maybe two. Two issues: one, how does OKC develop, and by develop, I mean get rid of Jeff Green? Two: Egos. And I agree with you on the timing for their 1st ring.

I don’t think Orlando would have been hated — Grant Hill and Tim Duncan are just too classy and would have smoothed things over by being super nice guys to everyone all the time. That would have been an awesome triumvirate, though.
