Spurs Looking to Trade McDyess
"The San Antonio Spurs are trying to unload Antonio McDyess and the remaining $7.5 million owed him after this season to possibly clear a way to make a trade for Chicago Bulls forward Tyrus Thomas, league sources told Yahoo! Sports."

I'm shocked
I understand Blair has exceeded all expectations x1000, but Dyess is the perfect guy to have as a leader.
Perhaps that’s why they’re even considering this, lots of trade value?
I don’t know, this doesn’t sit well with me, Dyess deserves his chance at a ring.
IME, Jefferson needs to go. He was to be a go-to scorer and yet his numbers are really quite pathetic, especially for someone making $14 mill. I think this might mark RC Buford’s first truly backfiring move in a decade, unless if you count trading Leandro Barbosa (or perhaps Scola, but he would have got zero play time at that point)

dyess needs another shot at a ’ship
San Antonio McDyess
Fuck Texas, come back to the D. Those dudes are on some garbage ass drugs and aren’t winning no goddamn belts or trophies.

i would not wish that on dyess at this point in his career
being on a team like detroit. he’s the one piston i really feel bad for.
he was the only one who left it all on the floor in all those season we came up short
Yeah, I don’t want Dyess back either. He needs to go to a contender for another shot at that ring.

Spurs aren't winning it this year
Is all I’m saying. There’s only a handful of teams I see doing that, and San Antonio is close, but not in the group.

Blame Jefferson
He was supposed to put them over the top, but has been a complete flop.

As I'm sure you know
Vince Carter was their original target. San Antonio must hate watching him play right now. Lately he’s been better than I’d predicted in Orlando. Hopefully for them, his body holds up.
