Ugh
I fanposted this an hour ago. I seem to confuse them quite a bit.
At any rate
Interesting to me, because we not only dump Wilcox but shed Gordon’s salary as a result. I’m sure some of my DBBrethren are salivating over those two aspects of the deal. I still think Stoudemire is a candy ass punk. I also still think it’s super early to be looking at Gordon like he can’t be a great contributor.

Amare is not the big man we need or the big man I want. He’s incredibly soft on D, he’s inefficient, and waaaaaay too big a fan of himself.
I want out of Ben Gordon’s contract badly … I’m very skeptical that we’ll get out of the first round as long as we’re committed to him for $12 million per, but Amare is not the answer, either.
It would essentially be a do-over. Get rid of this summer’s boo boo, give us a big man to appease the fans temporarily, hang onto Rip (appease the fans), and have a chance at making a run at a big man this summer.

I wish the rumor had us getting Iggy
I’d take him over Amare/cap space any day. His play would fit in well here, I think.
