Northern Iowa is on a mission to destroy brackets.

Mine was looking dead

But I think its officially 6 feet under. Many thanks to Murray St and N. Iowa.

On a brighter side

If Michigan State can bring their A game the rest of the way it could be another Final Four appearance.

They’ve got to make it through two guys named Greivis and Farokhmanesh first.

I’m hoping Izzo is drawing up some defensive schemes to eliminate the perimeter scoring. If this is done with Lucas and MSU’s bigs rolling strong, I think they can knock both Maryland and N. Iowa out.

But of course, it’s easier said than done.

"Northern Iowa shocks Kansas"

Don’t you love it when they announce an upset by saying something like, “Northern Iowa surprises Kansas”? That makes it sound like the favored team didn’t know they had a game coming up.

“They came out of nowhere man. One minute I’m studying for the Bio exam and the next we’re down by 15 in the second!”

Omar Samhan

This guy isn’t on draftexpress’s Mock Draft. They have him as the 36th ranked Senior. But, he’s putting up some serious numbers in the tourney so far. Worth a second round pick?

I never watch college ball, but I just caught some of the Kentucky game. They’re CRUSHING Cornell, 32-16. I wanted to watch Cousins, but all of the Kentucky players are playing so well he’s not really getting a lot of touches. And their perimeter guys are stealing everything, so there are a tonne of fast breaks.

Cousins was impressive early, though. I think he scored KY’s first six points. Got great post position, made a couple nice moves, finished easily.
