The New Jersey Nets infamy-aversion campaign continues as the Nets host the Pistons.  The Nets are on fire after a scintillating 14 point home win against Kings, in a game that featured a combined 37.5% shooting effort from both teams, and are now just two wins away from a magic 10th win. 

The Pistons, meanwhile, are riding a six game losing streak that has seem them taken apart at home by the Indiana Pacers.  How low can they go? In spite of the fact that the Nets are on the second game of a back-to-back, they are nominal favorites to win tonight.

Play Daye - I'm going to cut and paste this for the rest of the season.  What, we have to give our starters big minutes to secure a win against the damn Nets?

Can Northern Iowa mow down the cream of the Big Ten crop? An MSU-OSU rampage to the Final Four would be pretty impressive?

I'm pretty sure Northern Iowa could beat either team at the IZOD center tonight.
