Around SBN: Jeremy Lin Continues Rampage, New York Wins On Road

Team sources told Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski that Stuckey didn’t have a seizure, as some initial reports suggested. "He was lightheaded and couldn’t get his bearings, but he never lost consciousness," one source said.

I should have posted my update here.

According to ESPN Rodney has returned to Detroit and will undergo further testing. It’s just wait and see at this point.

The scariest part about stuff like this is just not knowing. It could be a million different things (or nothing at all?) but now you just have to wait for tests and results and all of that fun stuff.

just found out

Damn, I hope they find out what the problem is, and I hope he’s okay.

Good. Bad. I'm the guy with the gun.

As much as it pains me to see Big Ben go down, I think that might be the best thing for the team right now. As it is, we’re stuck in no-mans land with no cap space and are looking at the 8th pick. Without Big Ben’s defense, our record will likely plummet and land us at least a top 5 pick.

Big Ben is like a bandaid to all of our problems. If this injury is serious, there’s a chance he might not return next year and so we cannot afford to miss on the draft. Especially not when BG and CV have been sucking the big one for the past few months and left us with no financial flexibility.

I’m more concerned with Rodney’s condition. If it is an abnormal heartbeat, they should be able to correct it and it should improve his play quite a bit. If you’ve watched him carefully, he seems to get winded before other players and often times is panting with his hands on knees in the 4th quarter. Once it is corrected, it should help with his blood circulation and respiratory system.

If they can’t figure out what’s wrong, I’m not sure what direction the organization should take. At they very least, he’s can be an excellent 6th man. He proved that last year, racking up 10, 11 assists off the bench and his condition shouldn’t get in the way due to less play time. It’ll be interesting to see what they do about the starting position. I don’t think it would be very difficult to pry Sessions out of Minnesota if Rubio returns (Will Bynum is not a true point guard, he’s always been a score first player and you can’t afford to do that when you’re undersized and don’t have a 3 point shot), but then you still have to figure out what to do with Gordon’s hideous contract. And worse that makes it much tougher to solve our front court problems if we have to spend more on the guard positions.

im glad he's ok

but if he turns out to have a chronic condition this is surely going to have to have an effect on dumars plan of building around him. i wonder how this will play out…

Shut him down for at least a week

What’s the point of playing him? Let him get fully, completely healthy. Let the docs do what they get paid to do. Let MFWB be MFWB. Play Daye at SG. Rushing to get him back gets us nowhere.

Yeah.

Let the dude rest. I’d think this would be a matter of fact, but some guys feel compelled to rush back. Stuck is likely one.

he should take it easy until they can figure out whats wrong with him

i want him to be at 100%, no point in rushing back, not like we are in a fight for the 8th seed or anything.

Maxiell said he (Stuck) may sit out the rest of the season today.

i wouldnt be opposed to that

if what he has is life threatening then there is no point in risking it. wonder what the fuck is up with him.

Only thing I could think of is a heart defect.

I’m probably way off. Hope I am.

I’m no Dr., but I’ve passed out playing basketball before, more than once. It’s possible that it’s something really serious, but it’s also possible that it’s just a freak accident.
