Thanks for the shout out, Packey. I’m thrilled to be part of the Wages of Wins Network. I hope to write 1-2 articles on the Pistons each season moving forward.
Just so those of you who don’t care for advanced statistics know, I didn’t put Packey up to posting this here :)
No problem.
Honestly, I wish you’d post them here, but I have no problem linking out to good stuff from the DBBrethren. Classy move to have him link to DBB, too.

he owes me for publishing the term “benaissance” on his site, as I own that trademark. Henceforth, “win shares” shall be called “payne poops” until properly credited. my people will call his people, and they will call him insulting names.
Uh, me, new?
In all seriousness, I was going to to give credit, but I wasn’t sure I it was you or Skylark who coined the term.
skylark and i
might actually be brothers, so i understand the uncertainty. and besides, DBB really owns The Bennaissance, I just wanted an excuse to call “win shares” “payne poops”.

It is my distinct honor to be called Skylark, a beautiful and majestic avian
as well as a rather pedestrian but reliable Buick sedan

and where the hell are my manners?
okay, so I drank them. great work, gulks— awesome read!

Good stuff, brgulker! Thanks! I have a love/hate relationship with stats. I’m terrible with numbers and compiling them and understanding them unless it’s spelling out by someone else, so I actually really enjoy reading articles like this (and all the other stat stuff compiled on here). Even though I’m not a stat-head, and it’s a totally different perspective than I’m used to and often shows interesting things I wouldn’t have noticed on my own.
If Stuckey is worth close to Rondo then trade him
The Pistons already have way too much money invested in the guard position. I don’t think Stuckey is near the player that Rondo is but if Stuckey costs even half of what Rondo cost then the Pistons would do well to trade him for a front court asset. Stuckey is on a cheap contract now and I think you are more likely to get Bynum at a bargain price than Stuckey so it makes sense to move Stuckey on now rather than overpay later. Although no GM thinks they are overpaying when they ink a contract.
