Minnesota Passing On Cousins?
According to DraftExpress's twitter feed, Cousins isn't going to work out for Minnesota because they are set on Westey Johnson.
They have Sacramento taking Monroe and then Golden State taking Cousins at 6.
I think the Pistons should trade up a couple spots (even going as far as to offer next year's first round pick in addition to the 7th).

Johnson is pretty certain to be around at 7 if Minny doesn’t draft them. please… swap… picks.
Uh, me, new?
I don't know...
I could see Sacramento or Golden State taking him (both teams have so many needs). But, hopefully Paul George, Xavier Henry or Al Farouq-Aminu start wowing people so Minny will feel that they’re guaranteed to get a great wing player at 7.
Hell, I think it’s worth giving up a future first rounder (lottery protected) just to move up one spot if it means getting Cousins.

If Johnson falls to us he is ours
He’s our FO’s number 1 guy
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It is already tomorrow in Australia
but that doesn't make sense
Cousins would be an absolute failure in GS. He needs to be in a half court, back-you-down offense like Detroit. He just does not have the physical conditioning to play in a run and gun situation, which is why I do not think we should trade a future first to move up.

You still need a post presence...
…for when the game slows down.
Regardless, if Cousins and control the boards and make outlet passes, he can play in a run and gun offense.

Now Draftexpress is saying there going to be a trade tomorrow or Tuesday
They’re sworn to secrecy. (fingers crossed)
draftexpress doesn't say 2 and 4, do they?
But, the tweet was in response to a Sixers fan.

by that i mean
it doesn’t exist unless you link to it in your comment. why mention it without a link? i can’t confirm what you’re saying
Uh, me, new?
the fanshot was a link to draft express’ twitter account, but with twitter, you can link to each individual tweet. so you could have linked to the “minnesota may be passing on cousins” with a direct link to that tweet, as well as a direct link to the trade-specific tweet.
it’s like reading a rumor on a specific article on ESPN, but linking directly to ESPN’s home page instead. take’s time to find it.
Uh, me, new?
If its us moving down i'd be happy.
Even if it’s the 5th pick and cousins isn’t available, there will be teams that we could swap picks again looking to trade down for Wes Johnson.

I was always a bit confused by the terminology. When we skip from 7 to 4, is that moving UP because you’re getting a higher draft pick? Or is that moving DOWN because you’re drafting at a lower number?

moving up; you are getting higher value

Haha! I always laugh at the Canadian jokes, so don’t worry about adding the sarcasm disclaimer for me. :D
