Of the arrogant professional athletes in the NBA, Chris Bosh might actually take the cake.

Silly Chris

when will you realize that your teams never do anything?

by bearded thundar on Jun 21, 2010 9:17 AM EDT reply actions

And when will he realize that Trix are for kids? Silly Chris!

Awesome

Now he won’t play with Lebron or Wade. I think he’ll go to Chicago.

by Biz Markie Moon on Jun 21, 2010 10:45 AM EDT reply actions

maybe

But even there he wouldn’t be the man. Derrick Rose would be (at least in the eyes of the media)

by bearded thundar on Jun 21, 2010 11:14 AM EDT up reply actions

Chicago would be a good fit for Bosh, I think.

Double rec’d. Canadian spelling is appropriate for this topic.

by Birdman84 on Jun 21, 2010 5:03 PM EDT up reply actions

you mean British

Canada simply chose to be unoriginal and not modify “English”

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

by garrettelliott on Jun 21, 2010 5:48 PM EDT up reply actions

Britain's been broke for years

They’re the only country with a larger debt per capita than the US (or at least used to be a few years ago, haven’t checked recently)

by bearded thundar on Jun 21, 2010 9:14 PM EDT up reply actions

I guess I meant the english language.

by garrettelliott on Jun 22, 2010 9:25 AM EDT up reply actions

no I knew what you meant

just a little shtick thrown your way ;)

by bearded thundar on Jun 22, 2010 11:22 AM EDT up reply actions

Haha, you guys seriously green’d my post for spelling centre? You should see how I spell colour, grey, and tonne. I also never say soda; it’s called pop.

by garrettelliott on Jun 22, 2010 1:57 PM EDT up reply actions

Your quaint language differences are just so endearing, Garrett.

by Birdman84 on Jun 22, 2010 2:03 PM EDT up reply actions

Also, the pop vs. soda debate is not based on international lines. Most people in Michigan seem to say pop. I say soda.

by Birdman84 on Jun 22, 2010 2:04 PM EDT up reply actions

I think Minnesota says pop, too. My neighbour is from Eastern Canada and she sounds like she’s from Minnesota. It’s kind of funny.

by garrettelliott on Jun 22, 2010 2:25 PM EDT up reply actions

Ah yes, carbonated beverages.

Threw me for a loop when I ordered a Coke down South, and they asked me, “Which kind?”
