I keep refreshing espn and Y!, but I haven’t seen anything yet. Doesn’t make sense, since Mr. vr67 clearly said he has a source VERY close to the Pistons. I’m sure he wouldn’t have used all CAPITAL LETTERS if he didn’t mean it. If this doesn’t pan out, I might lose all faith in humanity.

I think the young big men that are out there have prohibitive contracts, or their teams will never give them away unless we offer them everything we have. I think what we need is an old guy like Dampier, who will come off the books shortly, will give the young bigs some real deal size and power in practice to go against, and will step out of the spotlight quickly when we start to get serious. Kind of like Elden Campbell in the early 2000’s.
