DBB Basketball Game?

PrintThis is more low-key than a trip to Vegas, but if anyone is interested-- I'm home visiting my parents in Ann Arbor and most of the guys I used to play basketball with are now either out of state or don't/can't play that much anymore.
So any DBB'ers in the area interested in pick-up bball?
I usually just play at outdoor parks in summer, but I'd make the trek to a gym if there's a couple other guys who wanna run some 5v5 on hardwood. Or 3v3 at Elbel is always solid.

would it mean that he has a full zz top type beard and brings the thunder (his wang) out to any broad whos worthy? or does it mean he has a giant man bush in which it covers his wang, and when he parts his man bush, he release the thunder hidden within the bush?

I’d love to play but it might be tough. Unless I’m already in the area visiting my family, it’s a long drive for a pickup game….. If there’s enough interest and an actual date set, I’ll see if I can make it into a family trip.

You can do most of what you would in any other city.
Just depends on where you go. little kids get shot in Chicago with alarming regularity, but plenty of dudes play ball in the 312.

Can I play?
In spirit.
Well, there was the bit that you missed where I distracted him with the cuddly monkey then I said "play time's over" and I hit him in the head with the peace lily.
Not yet, but QD and I got the headbands and knee/elbow pads and arm sleeves ready to go :)
Since I’ve been back I’ve shot around at a couple of the different parks I used to play at and they’ve been almost completely empty, maybe a gym (the Y, or CCRB, or One on One?) in the area might have more people. Or could just play hardcore games of 21.
Today or tomorrow or Thursday in the afternoon or evening all work for me, are you in Ann Arbor also? If not, is there a more convenient place for you?
I’m in Lansing. I can’t do an afternoon due to work, so don’t plan around me. If you guys do pull something together, either afternoon or evening, let me know. Even if I can’t make the game, it would be cool to meet any other DBB’ers to put faces with names. My schedule is weird this week, so I can’t nail anything down. Just let me know if something’s decided.
Burns park usually had good 4×4 full court action. Decent talent level, usually. Just a suggestion. It’s a small court, so 5×5 is a lil too crowded.
Ann Arbor, it’s a good court. I haven’t played there in a while because it’s about 2 feet from my ex-gf’s parents house :(
I volunteer at a day camp for at risk youth from Ypsi & Pittsfield township
We go quite a bit to the Nike (Built) Court on Ellsworth. The shorties love it.
