All Ya Need Is Hate (Revised)
Just a quick update to my lengthy post of a couple months ago. This one has been greatly streamlined.
A. "I Hate These Punk Assed Bitches and Wish Awful, Awful Tragedy Upon Them, and Their Families, and Anyone Who Not Only Roots for Them, But Who Desires Anything Short of Prolonged Painful Death for All of Them"
The Miami Heat
B. "I'm Fine with Them Winning, Since They Aren't a Team of Superstars Bought by Pat Riley and Including LeBron James Who May Be the Most Arrogant Piece of Shit to Ever Put on a Professional Uniform"
The Boston Celtics, The Toronto Raptors, The New York Knicks, The New Jersey Nets, The Philadelphia 76ers, The Cleveland Cavaliers, The Chicago Bulls, The Milwaukee Bucks, The Indianapolis Pacers, The Orlando Magic, The Atlanta Hawks, The Charlotte Bobcats, The Washington Wizards, The Houston Rockets, The San Antonio Spurs, The Dallas Mavericks, The Memphis Grizzlies, The New Orleans Hornets, The Denver Nuggets, The Utah Jazz, The Portland Trailblazers, The Oklahoma City Thunder, The Minnesota Timberwolves, The Los Angeles Lakers, The Phoenix Suns, The Los Angeles Clippers, The Golden State Warriors, The Sacramento Kings
C. "Yeah, Obviously, I Want them to Win. But, You Know...the Way I'm Feeling at this Moment, I'd Almost Be Satisfied with Having My Favorite Team Never Again Enjoying a Winning Season if This Somehow Also Meant that the Punk Assed Bitch Miami Heat Suffered Unimaginable Horrors in this LIfe and the Next."
The Detroit Pistons

You'd rather
see LeBron James’ dreams fulfilled than the Maloof Brothers? Really? I don’t even see a comparison.

The Maloof Brothers Dreams Get Fulfilled Almost Every Night
Look, they own a casino and an NBA franchise, and most of the brothers are good looking. All of them get nekkid with Playboy quality chicks regularly, even the married ones.
So, you don’t have to sweat the Maloofs. I would much, much rather be the Maloofs than LBj, except for that tiny little detail where they got overextended building a condo project which almost nobody wanted, and it may cause them to lose their entire empire.

Fuck those bitchass Maloofs
They showed Detroit’s homeless and burning cars on their shitty jumbotrons during the Pistons’ pregame introductions.
They deserve to fail fail fail, for decades, fuck those assclowns in their clownasses, I would love to watch the LeHeats stomp out their wack team like a Newport

One of our sports channels showed a quick interview with Joakim Noah and he’s chomping at the bit to play them. He said something like, “We have a good team, too…. that’s why you play the games….” Bulls vs. Heat will be good.
That'll be great
Joakim Noah hates Lebron anyway. That, plus the fact he spurned his team, is a recipe for pure hatred, and if there’s anything I’ve ever learned from basketball, it’s that pure hatred is good.

I heard Derrick Rose didn’t bow down to him anyways.
by garrettelliott on Jul 9, 2010 6:54 PM EDT up reply actions
Haha, yeah, I’m being serious too! I read an article a few days ago where Rose was really dismissive about having LeBron as a team mate.

Cool with me
I’ve been looking for reasons to like the Bulls and they keep giving them to me, mostly courtesy of Joakim Noah. Who’da thought?

Weird, isn't it?
I’ve always liked Hinrich, too. Feel bad for him getting dumped to the Wiz, to be honest.
I used to hate that guy
I hated his hair, his damn draft suit, his game, and most definitely his face. I mean, dear God, I look a little like Colin Meloy, but Jesus Christ is Noah ugly. But then he started calling Lebron out on his shit, showing some life and bite and anger in his game (maybe I didn’t notice this before), and now he’s going to have his whole team gunning for the Heat.
I seriously think that Joakim Noah is that team’s leader. Derrick Rose seems too passive, and I don’t see Boozer taking it over. Joakim Noah seems to be the head dude there, and as long as he stays an angry spiteful bastard, I’m cool with that.

They do the angry spiteful bastard thing really, really well.

lets not forget
during Joe’s first season he got into trouble for being “too outspoken” with the coaching staff. And didn’t he and Big Ben have some kind of squabble? Im liking this Noah kid more and more. He is the only one that I’ve known to call ’Bron out on his courtside antics. Go Bulls! except when playing the Pistons.

Noah's hate for LeBron is so tangible
It’s fucking beautiful. I hope he and Boozer fucking annihilate Bosh and tag-team dance in front of the Heat bench during every time out. Seriously, I like the Bulls to begin with (relatives in Chicago — not because of Jordan or anything. I was 7 when he retired), but Noah puts them way over the top for me.

Agreed...
Admittedly though I did not think Noah would be as good as he’s been in the NBA…

Neither did I
In fact, I taunted the Bulls fans in my family about it for like a month. Shows how much I know.

I like to think I always undervalue big men...
which means if Art is as good as I think he is, he’s actually WAY better.

can't believe
Detroit fans rooting for Chicago. Maybe I’m stuck in the past but my hate for Chicago will never disappear…it’s now just taking a hiatus thanks to Miami.
Besides, Boozer will be hurt for 35 games anyway and not show up when it matters most.
Best Regards,
Rami.
No one is rooting for Chicago as a team
But we all are rooting for Joakim “Teh Cleveland Hater!!!!” Noah

I did see some sprinkles of love for the Bulls
but it’s all good, just not my thing. At this point, on the order of NBA shitlists go:
(1) Miami
(2) Chicago
(3) Boston
Boston will likely fall off and be irrelevant again barring a trade that revitalizes them.
Best Regards,
Rami.
(4) ohio, so by default we still hate the cavs

I shit on any team we've ever had a rivalry with.
So Lakers, Celtics, Bulls, and Cavs. Maybe Pacers.

I can’t back you up even .1% On that one.

absolutely
The Bulls ended the Bad Boys era and then went on to greatness so hell yeah Bulls over Celtics.
Best Regards,
Rami.
I have nothing against the Chi
They’ve stayed in their place ever since Jordan left. they have come close on several occasions to putting together a very nice team. and their fans have remained respectful and humble.Chicago is on my short list of teams to root for when not rooting for the Pistons.

Agreed
Pretty much every Bulls fan I’ve met hasn’t been a dick about the Jordan era. I guess their run in the early 2000’s humbled them.

Hey, it’s SCNTFC!
I agree with you and T_n_T. Chicago sucked when Jordan was there, but they seem cool now. It’s been a long time since MJ was kicking ass, so I can get behind them a bit more now. Especially since Noah wants to stomp Miami into a curb.
by garrettelliott on Jul 14, 2010 9:52 AM EDT up reply actions
Yeah that and MJ hasn't done shit with his post-player career
As a GM/Player-Coach/Coach/Part-Owner/Owner he really hasn’t done shit aside from fuck with Rip Hamilton and help us win a championship by trading him to us for Stackhouse.

What's the story behind the whole Jordan/Rip thing?
Did Jordan trade Rip so he could get more PT for Stackhouse, who played at North Carolina and probably not as good as Jordan at that level in his career?
by Biz Markie Moon on Jul 14, 2010 12:30 PM EDT up reply actions
Jordan thought Rip was a failure
He just berated him all the time and basically dumped him at the first chance he got because Hamilton was nearly as good of a 3 point shooter as Ray Allen (at least that what I’ve gotten from it)
by bearded thundar on Jul 14, 2010 12:32 PM EDT up reply actions
Yeah...
Rip had to play alongside, get coached by, and GM’d by one of the biggest assholes in professional basketball.
I’m actually amazed he evolved into the player he is today. I can’t actually figure out why MJ even drafted Rip. He was pretty much all over him from day 1.
Jonas Jerebko once killed a charging female rhinoceros in heat protecting its young with nothing more than a hook shot.
and if nothing else
You have to at least respect the Bulls after that Boston series in 09. that was epic. One of the best series I’ve witnessed in ages. Besides that, when BG came over most of their fans wished him well despite the fact that he came to a division rival. We didn’t do the same for them when Big Ben went over there, albeit different circumstances. When Boston finally won the series It just made me hate them more. This season the Bulls
will again wear the underdog title. And to get anywhere, they will have to beat a team that we “hate” so I will root for them with glee. I’d rather see them win than 2 of the 3 other options.

The Portland Trailblazers
Unlinkable.
My two favorite teams are the Tigers and Brewers. Drunk tigers. That sounds about right.
Me in 140 characters
Unlikeable?
Or unlinkable? Hmm.
I love them, they are my second favorite team, even not living in Portland I would like them, they showed lots of heart this playoff series.

Its even silly to hate the Blazers from the late 80s/early 90s
We destroyed them in the playoffs in 90
Jonas Jerebko once killed a charging female rhinoceros in heat protecting its young with nothing more than a hook shot.
yeah I don't see why we should hate them
If anything, they should hate us.
The only thing that people seem to have a problem with is how they fired Pritchard, who by all means was a very good GM and even finished his final draft after being fired (which he could have thrown away out of spite)

Yeah they did Pritchard wrong, but that was Paul Allen.
The Allen/Miller tandem are one of my least favorites in the league. Firing Pritchard will cost this franchise.
