Well guys, ESPN's revisionist history has gotten us what we've all been wanting since that fateful Horry 3 from the corner back in 2005...BACK-TO-BACK CHAMPSIONSHIPS!!!!
Detroit's overnight implosion from perennial contender to conference doormat continued apace in 2009-10, with its free agents unable to shore up a declining veteran core and general manager Joe Dumars -- the architect of the Pistons' 2005 championship -- increasingly under fire for a series of questionable moves in the years since.
That's right folks! Apparently the Pistons won another championship in 2005! Oh happy day! While I feel like the ESPN sucks posts are getting old, at the same time, I also feel like we should be constantly reminded just how inept seemingly all of their NBA analysts are.

As for the remainder of the forecast, well, he has us going 32-50 and cites that our lack of star power (apparently every other team in the league had at least 2 players with better PERs than our best player's PER last year which was Tay's at 16.06) and inability to stop opponents (our opponents not only had the best TS% at 57.2% but we fouled the 3rd most in the leage and gave up the highest assisted makes at 64+% of our opponents baskets coming off of assists).
While we all know our team played very poorly last year, I'll give Hollinger credit that these stats especially, paint a dire picture for last year. Let's hope chiseled charlie and Rodney "on paper" Stuckey will help buck this trend.
