Around SBN: VIDEO: Watch I'll Have Another Win the Preakness Stakes

Many of you read tads post about the ESPN article outlining LeBron's recent Vegas escapades.

ESPN ombudsman Don Ohlmeyer attempts to get to the bottom of the story about how the information was collected, why the story was published, and why it was never put back on ESPN.

Believe it if you will.

Frankly, I don’t give a shit what Lebron does in LA. You’d be surprised how many people think Jordan was a good dude that didn’t cheat on his wife or have a gambling problem.

I'm not reading all that

and it’ll take a lot for me to like ESPN or James. Until then, plain and simple, fuck ESPN and LeDouche James.

I used to love ESPN. Now, I can barely stand to turn it on. It’s mostly ignorance loud mouths who’ll say anything to get a rise or retired professional athletes that can barely string three logical concepts together to form a coherent paragraph.

About Don Ohlmeyer

…no one has better cred in the business, and his resume (original producer of Wide World of Sports, several Olympics, etc.) speaks for itself. He’s truly a HoF broadcaster and doesn’t need ESPN’s dough. I can’t think of a better person to be the Ombudsman for ESPN.

As I predicted several months ago, he’d be commenting on the pulling of the story.

What did we learn from the story? LeBron likes pussy, he’s got a lot of money, and he likes to party in Vegas. Not exactly what I’d call “newsworthy”.

I get Ohlmeyer’s argument, and from a journalistic ethics POV, he’s correct. I don’t agree that the pulling of the story and the backlash that ensued was penance for airing The Decision (where he’s already weighed in as being in poor judgment).

The final thing…you may disagree with Ohlmeyer, but his intellectual honesty speaks for itself.

Nest Thing I Know

…you’ll want it in archaic French, all the lines rhyme, 4 lines, no more or less.

Agreed

Its just lazy, using something that has been an issue in the past as a way to discredit his own fucking up, and just shows somebody who is completely out of touch with reality.

Fuck you, Lebron.
