Pop Quiz: 2010-11 TS% Leaders
Which NBA guards not named Steve Nash are leading the league in True Shooting percentage in the 2010-11 NBA season? Sure, you can look it up (like a douchebag, not a boss) or you can actually guess in the comments below. this was my guess.
Jonas Jerebko once killed a charging female rhinoceros in heat protecting its young with nothing more than a hook shot.

DeJuan Blair.

Hmmm … when I saw the title I thought Nash, so score one for nerdy stat geekery I guess.
Beyond that, I’m going to guess that it’s someone we recently gave away, so I’m going to throw out Spellcheck.
And now to the stats!
Well, 1 out of 2 ain’t bad! Joe Dumars is a fracking idiot. (I am watching Battlestar Galactica on Netflix with the wife right now! FTW!)
what would you do in his situation?
In one season, your boss gives the guy starting ahead of you an $12M/yr. extension. Then he signs a stud SG for $12M/yr. What would you do? The “he asked for a trade” doesn’t excuse Joe’s fuckery here.
MFDLN!!
oh, I thought I was prodding for Red Pandas
But, yeah, a potential starting gig in Denver or backing up two $12M men for a declining franchise doesn’t seem like a tough personal decision.
shit
where has my sarcasm sensor gone? my apologies, friend!

The fact that Aaron Afflalo, a better player than Ben Gordon, asked for a trade isn’t much consolation, though, BP. It just feels like the proverbial salt.
I'll go further and say
the fact that the Pistons handed Stuckey the PG position on nothing but potential alone while making Afflalo work for everything just to barely give him minutes makes it much worse for me. I’m not knocking Stuckey for it, not his fault, but just wish they treated Afflalo better. 1 year buried on the bench by Flip and then 1 year under the “leadership” of Curry isn’t what I would consider a good basis for evaluation but that’s not hear nor there. Dammit this thread makes me salty!
