NBA Lockout to reportedly kill two more weeks

Stay connected for news and updates

Aggressive mediated talks broke down last Thursday with both sides butting heads on the basketball related income split and no plans to reconvene. Now, there are rumors that the owners and players will meet again "sometime before or on November 2," but that apparently won't save another two weeks of the season from being canceled, according to the New York Daily News

The first two weeks of the 2011-12 NBA season are history, and if a report by the New York Daily News is correct, so are the next two.

According to the report, the league will announce the cancellation of games through Nov. 28 sometime Tuesday. The Daily News cited an anonymous source who is aware of the NBA’s plans.

That means over 200 NBA games will be clipped. Shit is depressing. If you're looking for a great reference during all this, SB Nation has a tearful streamline to keep you well informed and sad.
