Amir Johnson Basketball Camp at Southfield High School Oct 7 - 8

Amir  will be holding a basketball camp at Southfield High School this Friday Oct 7th and Saturday Oct 8th.  The Tigers will not play on the 7th of October regardless of whether they win tonight or wind up having to return to N.Y..  So at least for Friday Night there would be no conflict with his camp.

It's really kind of cool that he would come back to Detroit to do this.   Though as I recall he might do this every year, though I am not sure about this. 

Will he show up at a Tigers game?  Odds seem a bit long.  If the Tigers beat the Yankees they will open the AL Championship series on the road on Oct 8th and return to Comerica on Oct 11th.   So Amir would have to hang around for a few days to catch the game on the 8th.  I am pretty sure he wouldn't have any trouble getting a ticket though you never know.
