I don’t want to say ‘young talent stiffled’ I think they will get their minutes, it will just have to be at the wrong positions because our roster still doesn’t quite make sense.

25-41
Our talent is better than this, but it doesn’t mesh well.
Knight will have a real shot at NBA ROTY.
Stuckey will be the starting PG, but it’s just a matter of time before Knight supplants him. Probably not before the 45 game mark though.
As much as I would like to see Stuckey and Tay get dealt for a big, which big, and what can you really offer? How are you going to pry away Josh Smith when ATL has a zillion SGs already? That’s just one example, so we get a big in the draft. Hopefully at #3 or so.
Let’s say you could get Okafor…then why?
I don’t see Tay sticking around that long. It’s just a matter of time before Butler gets hurt, the Clips need a SF, but again, what can they offer? Adding someone like Mo Williams just makes the backcourt even more crowded. You’d need a third team to make it work.
Finally, is it possible that CV31 has played his way out of town already?
So, it’s going to suck here for a while, but it should start getting better next year.
This is DBB, and this is what we do.
Really feeling the overall prediction, instead of the list mode. List mode is so tedious.

Pistons Sixth Man of the Year- Everybody not named Greg Monroe, because everyone will get to be the Sixth Man.

Best Regular Season Record, Overall- Bulls.
Best Regular Season Record, East- Bulls.
Best Regular Season Record, West- Dallas Mavericks.
Regular Season MVP- Who’s going to have the best season? Probably Chris Paul. Who’s probably going to win it? Fucking Carmelo Anthony or something.
Regular Season Defensive Player of the Year- Dwight Howard.
Regular Season Rookie of the Year- Kyrie Irving.
Regular Season Sixth Man of the Year- Lamar Odom.
Regular Season Coach of the Year- Scott Brooks.
Most Improved Player of the Year- Hmmm…. Afflalo? Javale McGee? I think Moose could be a dark horse.

Don't Underestimate VDN
He’s not Mr. X’s and O’s, but consider guys like Kuester and Brown are and both are a joke as a HC. I wish Jerry Buss would have gotten me on the phone and asked my opinion. Dr. Buss has watched a lot of hoops, certainly he would know more about game management or sub patterns, neither of which Mike Brown has a clue. Then again, he’s letting his younger son Jim run the team instead of Jeannie, who knows more about BB in her pinkie than Jim knows altogether (Kupchak has always been more or less a bystander).
Lakers have too many internal issues, and a horrible money coach to make a run. Bet against them with impunity in the first playoff series-they’re likely going to be seeded 4th or 5th and be overpriced as a public side.
OK, back to VDN…he’s gotten results with two entirely different Bulls teams, the first one was really impressive, since the first team was terrible and he more or less had to learn the HC job on the fly. Somehow, this wasn’t good enough and he still got fired. If you ask me, I don’t get it either, but he’s doing something right. Maybe we don’t have to get it.
This time around, VDN has a good mix of youngsters and vets, and he’s apparently an excellent motivator. They’re not deep, but they can make a run, and they have guys who know how to win. I think this is now OKC’s conference to lose, but the Clips could make it interesting. I mean, their 3d PG is better than Westbrook, and Chauncey just eats up smaller PGs. Ask CP3 if you don’t believe me.
This is DBB, and this is what we do.

In the process of thinking about this upcoming season
I couldn’t help but think one thing: Why didn’t the Thunder make a claim on Billups?
And f*ck the Heat. Okay, two things.
I honestly can't figure out why a lot of teams didn't make a claim.
For all we know they did though. Not sure whether they make public all the teams that put in a claim even though they didn’t win. My guess is they don’t make that public.
