Tayshaun Prince open to trade
Prince, who will be a free agent after the season, was asked what he would think if Pistons president Joe Dumars asked him about a potential move.
"It would be something I would definitely look at," Prince said. "Who wouldn’t want to have that situation? Who wouldn’t want the opportunity to play for another championship?
"So if it's intriguing enough, of course, I'd look at it."

We’re forced to keep Rip.
We let Tay expire and use the space to re-sign Stuckey.
This is my nightmare.
Non sequiter what?
Recced for “Now who else wanna fuck with Hollywood court?” which I say all the time.

Also.
FUCK DRAKE.
Seriously, you act like you got a Southern accent, yet you can’t quote what most people would call the greatest Southern rap act ever correctly? Fuck you Aubrey Graham. Red pandas for your cheesy ass.

I don’t hold it against you. You guys also produced Leonard Cohen, Neil Young and Leslie Nielsen, so you guys had to screw up at some point.

This would be the best for the team...
If we can add a player who might help us now, then we gotta do it. At the same time, if we can retain a player who might help us later, then we gotta do that too. Stuckey may help us now and he could help us later, so we need to re-sign him.

Our goal here is to put together a basketball team
So ideally, you know, you want the guys you sign to know how to play basketball. Whether they know how to play basketball right now, or if I think they maybe could learn how in the future, you gotta sign ‘em to a max deal. If we don’t, then we’re just signing guys who don’t know how to play basketball, and then you don’t really have a basketball team. Basketball is about basketball, so no, I’m not going to make any trades before the deadline.

So you’re saying your nightmare is like the Dead Island Trailer, except rip is the little girl? Or is tayshaun the little girl?
Either way, there is still hope. Rip might get frustrated, ask for a buyout, we release him on waivers and let the mavericks (or whoever) sign him and get ready for the future.
Or we trade rip next year when his contract might be a little more palatable to other teams.
Interviewer: So, Tay, are you excited about the prospect of being traded?
Interviewer: Okay, well, do you think you could see yourself finishing your career in Detroit?
Interviewer: There are probably some contenders out there who might look at you as their final, missing piece. That must make you pretty happy, right?

Interviewer: There have been rumors swirling that the tension between you and Coach Kuester are in fact due to sexual tension. A passionate love affair gone wrong. Care to comment?
Interviewer: If it was the zombie apocalypse and you could only choose one, would you save your own mother from a fatal bite to the neck or run an Isolayshaun that ends in a WTFallaway?
Interviewer: Tough decision, I know. LOOK TAY, WHAT’S THAT OVER THERE?! IT LOOKS LIKE ONE OF YOUR TEAMMATES IS OPEN!

its moments like these that force me to think about whether any of the players look at dbb.com
At least one of them must from time to time…

I’m pretty sure I read a while back that at least one player definitely reads DBB. So there might be a few others who lurk, or maybe they talk about the stupid stuff we say? They more than likely have better things to do, but it would be cool if they at least enjoyed the commentary (even if some of it can be……..biting). Hi Rodney!

I don't care what you say, I still like Tay
And I don’t blame him a bit for the comments he made in this interview.

Me too.
I never wanna hear “I’m thinking about going to another team” from a Piston player I like, but he’s being honest, and I think he’s voicing a sentiment that he & Rip clearly have been feeling for more than a little while. It is what it is. I never saw the team unraveling like this, but it’s time to reload. I hope the starting 5 all get their jerseys hung. I’ll go see it.

i rec'd this
minus the whole jersey retiring thing, i don’t like the whole concept (ex. NFL/College, or the Celtics).
Good. Bad. I'm the guy with the gun.
Well, You win a title and run roughshod over the league for the duration they did
I say hoist them shits.
..It’s not a concept I am passionate about, but I was passionate about that team, and as a unit they were just great.
