Report: Knicks draw line in sand on Melo talks
Much of the league...continues to operate under the assumption that the All-Star forward remains desperate to wind up with the Knicks when all is said and done.
The Knicks meanwhile, released a statement Sunday, insisting that executive chairman James Dolan, president of basketball operations Donnie Walsh and head coach Mike D'Antoni are on the same page in their pursuit of Anthony, and Isiah Thomas isn't involved in it.

I Believe The Press Release
If Isiah were involved in it, it would have been a 3-way with Detroit, exchanging a first for Rip and throwing in both Fields and Gallo.
BTW, I had a different take on the linked article, you’ll have to see my own Fanpost for it’s own little special analysis.
Just Vpinion
WHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?
You’re goddamn right I’ll take Fields and Gallo for Rip Hamilton, threes and twos or not.

I think he was joking
that Isiah = easily screwed for a big formerly moderately big name.
It's gonna take a lot of fireworks to clean this place up.
It sounded plausible to me. Isiah Thomas is not a smart GM and would probably see Billups/Chandler/Anthony/Amare/Mozgov as a championship team.
