PrintDarko Milicic coming back to the Pistons? His number this year has been more than solid. Playing only 24 minutes per contest, he averaged 9 pts, 5 rebs, and 2 blocks. I can understand why he got such a low rebounding production, because he played with some dude named Kevin Love. The two blocks per game really intrigues me because that's exactly what we need; if he plays 30 minutes (about right because he also averages 3.3 fouls in 24 minutes), he could one of the best shot blockers in the NBA. One more thing, I do like Monroe and Jerebko playing with him because Monroe doesn't have to do all the dirty work and Jerebko can play the 3 (I think that's his natural position).

But seriously. Drastically reduced expectations and he’s become a solid role player. You could definitely do worse in a starting Center. He gave the Spurs fits during the regular season.

Darko is still awful. The stat line above is missing FG% and TO’s, which when accounted for, completely undermine the positive noted above.

He was arguably the best defensive player on that team, but the rest of his game was so bad that he was one of the worst overall players on the team. I voted “Good idea,” just because Darko always is good for a chuckle, but really if we were going to make a deal for another big I’d prefer there to be some upside.
regardless if darko is actually good or not
there would be a mutiny in Detroit. 98% of fans would be calling for his job. whether or not they are correct in that, it would still happen.
well, now... hold on a minute..
when you really think about it, doesn’t Darko=Rashead Wallace? Think about it.

Furthermore, I think the sentiments would be echoed from Darko, as well. He was made a mockery of here in Detroit. Why on God’s green earth would he ever harbor any interest in returning to the place where that happened?

Bringing Darko back for anything would have been like the Wizards making a play for Kwame Brown...only worse because Darko was an absolute joke in Detroit whereas Kwame just failed to deliver despite getting his fair share of PT.

So yes; he would force the 12th guy off the roster..making the Pistons slightly better.$ would be the only issue.
