Longtime readers are likely familiar with DBB commenter FRED W. CAPEL, but you may not know that also he's the CEO and founder of the Foundation for Children With Down Syndrome, a 501(c)(3) non-profit based in the recently devastated Joplin, MO. I received a note from Fred this past weekend that I wanted to share with the community:   

"Matt, as you know Joplin, Missouri was hit by othe largest tornado on record in the past 60 years, an F5, the destruction is very wide spread. Many of our kids have been displaced as well as myself and my son. We are now running the foundation from the Comfort Inn in Joplin ... The link to our website is listed below, can you please place the link in the Bad Boys website so that they can assist in our donation efforts to assist our kids during this devastating situation.

It's impossible to overstate the destruction suffered in Joplin -- 141 people have died, and the before and after pictures are gut-wrenching. If you have the ability to do so, please consider joining me in donating to Fred's foundation here.
