Greg Oden after next season?? By that time, Prince's contract is up (helps with the cap to pick up a FA), maybe Pistons end up with both Oden and Monroe at the starting 4-5 spots. Or trade Prince and his expiring contract at the trade deadline for a SF for the future (maybe Travis Outlaw and a 1st rd pick from NJ, I'm saying NJ since they would probably take Princes expiring contract to help get D. Howard after next season) Banking that Oden will stay healthy that is, Oden and Monroe would combine for 30+pts 25+ rebs and 6blks. Keep Stuckey running the point, after that, its hectic.. Gordon, Charlie V, Hamilton, what to do with them??

I think that the Pistons are in play to make some huge moves, with $21 million coming off the books the next 2yrs, they can make some noise.

P.S, I'm not saying that Travis Outlaw will be a SF Allstar of the future, just that he is a young, athletic SF who can score when he's got it going.

ummm....

Prince isnt an expiring contract, he has expired, he is an unrestriced fee agent now. And Oden staying healthy is a big if right now, seeing how he has not played a whole NBA season due to injuries. I wouldnt mind taking a chance on him, if he can get past his injuries he will be very solid.

i say get rid of everyone we possibly can

Except for Monroe, Jerebko, Stuckey, and the rookies

Then offer everything we possibly can, like 10-15 mil a year, if possible to these players, in this order:
Gasol
DeAndre Jordan
Nene
Dalembert
Chandler
Oden (as a last resort)

If we are going to win we need one of those bigs, so we should break the bank for them, especially the young ones. At the very least we drive up their cost if their teams match. We gotta play desperate.
