Fantastic. Peace. Love. Blocks and Dunks. Great Basketball. Great Clip.
To experience the consequences of my own choices. This is why I live
Love it
Rasheed’s fadeway is just so beautiful. My favorite part is at 1:19: watch Big Ben strip Gary Payton, one of the greatest point guards of all time, then run a one-man fast break.
Fantabulistic
I know they both were great on defense, and I’m glad they have a lot of those highlights, but I remember thinking something special could happen in 2003-04 when ’Sheed first came to the team and was on the receiving end of some alley-oop dunks.
Or this one?
Jonas Jerebko once killed a charging female rhinoceros in heat protecting its young with nothing more than a hook shot.
Beautiful video
Sadly, all I could think of while watching it was just how far we have fallen in the last couple of years.
My federal building is way cooler than your federal building.

The only thing I could think of
was the fact it feels like we were back-to-back champs…but that year was our only championship.
Deeeeeee-pressing Basketball!
Yeah
Me, too. My thought was “Geeze, there was a time not too long ago that we EXPECTED to win every game.”
Then a little part of me died inside.

Thank you Nestea
for boobs over there (<—) and booty over there (—>)
(to those out-of-the-country, there’s a Nestea ad skin running on DBB right now with boobies and booties)

That's some funny shit, right there.
I love how Nestea knows that it’s mostly dudes at this site and has at least done us the favor of making their adds bonerific. Yes, if it’s in the urban dictionary, it’s a word.

Awesome On All Levels
TYVM, Miss Natalie-and especially for the Roots/John Legend song…unreal mix of trip hop and rap.

Ugh, this makes me more sad than anything else.
I miss watching the Wallace Bros. shut down the paint on a nightly basis. The best I can do now is to get thrown out of church games for swearing and throwing my head band. Thanks for the inspiration, Sheed.
All the time relaxed.

I was at Sheed levels of cursing on my academic team. I know that feel. I know that feel.

From the days of the "No Fly Zone", we've gone to..
Zone, then to just plain “NOOOO”, so I’m asking, “Have we gone full circle yet?”

Great memories. The good ole days.
OT, but check out the hate for Billups in the comments of this article at SLAM.
Time running out for Chauncey Billups
Weird. I thought pretty much everyone liked Chauncey.
It’s not his fault his coach is essentially a snake oil salesman in a system he doesn’t fit into well. And he’s got two scorers who aren’t exactly the most efficient on the planet, and it’s even less his fault the team got gutted all to hell to bring in Melo.

Wow, those comments are just horrible
The guy who’s 48th in league history for career TS% is “ONE OF THE BIGGEST CHUCKERS OF ALL TIME.” Chauncey shoots his teams out of games, but the Knicks would be fine if they had Jennings. Someone seriously suggested Allen Iverson…and another agreed. Reading those makes my brain hurt.
chauncey was a star once in 2000 something…and an all-star, i dont remember anything else…in a way no one remembers, because the pistons been sucking ever since, and he’s a journey man now…he almost fell in the same category as D-Wade, once, finals MVP’s, however, D-Wade reaching the finals this year, separates him completly from billups. IF BILLUPS STILL IN THE NBA, TALKING ABOUT GOING BACK TO BUILD CHEMISTRY AND THAT HE WILL BE READY, THEN WHY NOT ALLEN IVERSON!!!
This is why we’re awesome and everyone else is terrible.

First off
That video is outstanding.
Second, I checked out that Slam link. Then I went to basketball-reference.com so I could check out Chauncey’s playoff v. regular season numbers. More importantly, the guys who come up on the left-hand side, randomly…Grant Hill, Allen Iverson, Kelly Tripucka, Walter Dukes & Sean Elliott. All former Pistons, all former all-stars. This leads me to conclude that, if there is a season in 2011-2012, the Pistons will likely win the championship. I’m just saying.
Oh, and Chauncey didn’t shoot better in the playoffs v. regular season, so I’m not posting anything on Slam. But I will provide you a link of what Chauncey looked like when he was having a steroid-induced brain aneurysm.

Scott Hastings was the greatest player in the league in Bulls vs. Lakers.

Fair enough
Chauncey is jacked in that photo, regardless of how he got there. Regrettably, I’m pretty sure he’s going to be challenging Joe D’s BMI crown once he retires.
