"And now for the 100th time, the Pistons were prepared to let Prince walk, but Frank wanted Prince back seeing as how there wasn't a starting caliber small forward on the team."

Vince Ellis at a FREEP chat yesterday. If this is true, then Larry Frank is obviously: 1. Wrong. We have two SF's better than Prince on the roster right now, maybe 3. 2. Obviously more concerned with eeking out 3 or 4 more wins this year than preparing this team to succeed in the future. This is ominously close to LFIAFI territory here, and that doesn't even touch the implications of the coach dictating terms to the GM.
