VIDEO: Thomas Robinson ejected after elbowing Jonas Jerebko in the neck

Rookie Thomas Robinson was ejected two minutes into the fourth quarter for elbowing Jonas Jerebko in the neck. Jerebko would be okay, but it took him a moment to catch his breath and shake off the sting.

Thomas Robinson, a first year pro out of Kansas, was ejected two minutes into the fourth quarter of Sacramento's win over the Pistons on Wednesday night after elbowing Jonas Jerebko in the neck.

After seeing the replays, Jerebko appeared to be, at worst, annoying Robinson by having his hands around Robinson's hips after a whistle. Robinson responded by throwing a viscous, Metta-World-Peace-like 'bow up around Jerebko's head. Luckily, the blind elbow landed on Jerebko's neck in an area where he only lost his breath for a brief moment and normal, weaker, less beautiful humans would ultimately develop a little bruise.

I didn't get to hear the Pistons' broadcast, but apparently George Blaha was as livid as he's ever been. The Kings' announcers were also appalled by Robinson's elbow. Due to the seemingly intentional nature of it, too -- unlike Jerebko's elbow/shoulder to Jason Smith's head last year -- Robinson could be hearing from the league.

Jerebko shook it off and hit a three pointer a minute later. He finished the Pistons' loss with 7 points on 3 for 6 shooting in only 15 minutes. After the game, he tweeted the following:
