Tis Christmas in Motown,

So let’s begin the run down.

Though there’s hope in store,

No doubt we still need a bit more.

A point guard that will primarily pass,

A small forward that can really shoot with class,

And, alas, a coach that appeals in mass.

I sure hope that this rhyme doesn’t harass,

I didn’t mean it to be at all crass, or even that much sass…

I’m upbeat really, or so I would claim,

And, hoping for Big Ben to make the NBA Hall of Fame!
