Long before I was Mr. Happy Mushroom, I created Santa Dude. Each year since 1984 (well, minus three where I was in a bad mood), he's reappeared, bringing holiday cheer and/or indifference. Different words each year, but the basic format is a tracing of the previous year's card.

Past years' honorees have ranged from William S. Burroughs to Bauhaus to (Michigan's own) The God Bullies to Billy Brag to the Magnetic Fields to Guided by Voices to the Mountain Goats to Pablo Neruda to a Burmese revolutionary whose name I forget.

Now, revel, dammit, revel!
